Netstar sells stolen-vehicle tracking and recovery for private drivers, fleet management for businesses, and personal-safety services. Its range includes battery-powered recovery units, live GPS tracking with jamming detection, dashcams and AI driver-safety cameras for fleets, the Netstar Companion safety app and asset-tracking labels. Netstar contracts run for three years.
Netstar is a subsidiary of Altron, a technology group listed on the JSE. The older name “Altech Netstar” dates from when the parent company was called Altech, which is why you will still see both names. Warren Mande became Netstar’s managing director in July 2026.
Netstar’s head office is at Central Park Offices, 16th Road, Midrand, Gauteng (head office 011 207 5500). It serves customers nationally through fitment centres and partners. For theft, call 0800 11 22 22 (24/7).
