PSG Car Insurance: How PSG Insure and Its Advisers Work

PSG Insure arranges short-term insurance, including car insurance, through PSG advisers. You don't buy a PSG policy online; an adviser assesses what you need and arranges the cover.

PSG's insurance group also includes Western National Insurance, a short-term insurer. Ask your adviser which insurer they're recommending and why, so you know who carries the risk.

What stands out

  • Motor cover options include comprehensive, third party, fire and theft.
  • Value-added products such as excess and tyre solutions.
  • A named adviser who can help you at claim time.

What to check before you accept a quote

  • Which insurer your policy is with (it's on the policy schedule).
  • Whether your adviser compared more than one insurer.
  • Any adviser or broker fee on top of the premium.
  • The basic excess and any additional excesses, for example for young or newly licensed drivers. See what excess means in car insurance.
  • Whether your car needs an approved tracker. Many insurers require one above a certain vehicle value. See insurance-approved trackers.

How to get a PSG Insure car insurance quote

  1. Find a PSG adviser and ask for a car insurance quote.
  2. Ask for the same cover from at least one other insurer.
  3. Compare premium, excess and fees together before you sign.

Comparing is easier when every quote is for the same thing: the same cover type, the same car value (retail or market value) and similar excess. Our guide to comparing car insurance quotes has a checklist.

A tracker can lower your premium

Many insurers require an approved tracker on higher-value cars, and most give a discount when one is fitted. See which trackers insurers accept or estimate your saving.

Is PSG an insurer or a broker?+

PSG Insure's advisers act as intermediaries, arranging cover for you. PSG's wider insurance group also includes Western National Insurance, which is an insurer.

What does PSG car insurance cover?+

PSG lists comprehensive, third party, fire and theft motor cover, plus value-added products such as excess and tyre solutions. Exact cover depends on the insurer and policy your adviser arranges.

Tracker Prices SA is an independent information site. We are not an insurer or a licensed financial services provider, and nothing here is financial advice. Insurer details are summarised from each insurer's own published information, last checked September 2026. Cover, benefits and prices change, so always confirm them in your quote and policy wording.
